Manchester Incident

You have may have seen press reporting of a terrible incident in Manchester. National media are reporting that four people are injured after a car was driven towards persons and a male has been stabbed outside a Synagogue.  This incident has occupied on the Jewish High Holy Day of Yom Kippur.

I wanted to reassure all of our communities that North Area BCU already had in place increased patrolling over the Jewish High Holy Day period. We have reviewed our resources and shall continue with increased patrolling and reassurance across the entire BCU. I wanted to reassure you all that at present there appears to be contained in Manchester however – we are fully aware of the impact it will have across all of our local communities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the victim and their families of the attack in Manchester.
